ePortfolio

Deadline

The deadline for you to submit your e-portfolio is May 6, 11pm. This is a mandatory individual assignment. In order to earn the credit for your project work and pass the course, each person must separately complete this task.

Assignment

This course incorporates assessment of two ePortfolio foundational abilities: FA1.2 (Oral Communication ePortfolio) and FA6 (Conceiving of and Realizing Projects). There is no extra workload associated with these assessments beyond your regular course activities.

Instead, you will document and showcase relevant work you are already completing in the course by creating a personal ePortfolio using Digication (see instructions below). Your ePortfolio serves as a structured space to reflect on your learning, present selected artifacts, and demonstrate your development in communication and project-based skills.

To complete this requirement, you should:

  • Create your personal ePortfolio on Digication
  • Include all specified sections and information
  • Submit the link to your ePortfolio on Canvas by the designated deadline

Your ePortfolio must include the following sections and information:

  1. Link to your team github project repo,
  2. Link to where the app is deployed online,
  3. Presentation slides/notes/material used in your final team presentation, and
  4. A few paragraphs reflecting on your experience completing the team project.

For Item 4, you are expected to provide a thoughtful reflection on your project experience. This section should go beyond simply describing what you did—it should explain your process, decisions, challenges, and learning as both an individual and a team member. In particular, your reflection should address the following:

  • How did you come up and further develop the project idea both as an individual and as a team?
  • How did you go about designing your solution to the problem that you tried to address in this project work?
  • What specific software architectural/design principles, patterns, etc did you use?
  • What programming languages, technologies and APIs did you utilize?
  • How was the communication among all team members through the course of project completion?
  • How was the overall collobaration among team members through the course of project completion?
  • What parts of the work felt most challenging and rewarding in your opinion?
  • What would you do differently (as an individual or as a team) if you went back in time?
  • Most important lessons learnt.
caution

Note that this is an individual assignment; each team member must submit this assignment separately.
